Piseth Keo is currently a PhD candidate at the National University of Singapore and Harvard Yenching Institute (NUS/HYI). His doctoral thesis is entitled: “Political Ecology of Community-Based Natural Resource Management in Cambodia”. Mr. Keo’s research interests revolve mainly around political ecology, property rights, natural resource management, and climate change adaption.
Mr Keo’s interest in natural resource management grew out his experiences at undergraduate level, where he wrote thesis on the subject (2004). Since 2005, he has taken up a number of positions ranging from project operation and management, to research and lecturing in natural resource management and climate change adaptation. He has published book chapters, papers, and commentaries through national and international institutions. Mr. Keo received a Bachelor degree in Fisheries Science from the Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia (2004), as well as a Masters in Environmental Management and Development from Australian National University (2010).
