Foreign Policy and Regional Security Department

The foreign policy and regional security department focuses on comprehensive security issues in Cambodia and East Asia. It analyses the root causes of national and regional insecurity and instability, provides intervening policy tools, and builds institutional capacity to address the sources of insecurity in Cambodia and East Asia.

Key research areas include maritime security, regional security architecture, peacekeeping and peacebuilding, preventive diplomacy and conflict resolution. It also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences and produces books and other policy papers concerning security issues such as Regional Security Outlook.
